Shoprite #Shareforgood Campaign
8 December 2014

Maritzburg United FC is proud to be partnering with SHOPRITE in the #Shareforgood initiative.

Shoprite is reaching out to less fortunate people by giving out 10 000 food buckets this Christmas, nationwide.

The “Team of Choice” will be distributing 200 of these buckets, accompanied by His Worship the Mayor of Msunduzi Municipality, Cllr Chris Ndlela, starting tomorrow around Pietermaritzburg until our game against Mamelodi Sundowns on the 16th of December 2014, at Harry Gwala Stadium.

As we hand out these food buckets, we appeal everyone to inspire other people to #Shareforgood using your social media, by calling on them to DO SOMETHING this festive season by giving something those who are less fortunate.

Speaking to the Club’s official Website, Marketing and Communications Manager Brian Zuma said: “We are participating in this campaign because we believe in sharing, and want to encourage our fans and supporters to share with needy people, no matter how little it may seem. Let us all #Shareforgood and do something to put a smile on less fortunate faces this Christmas.”
