United look to Free State Stars Boost
26 February 2015

Maritzburg United are back at home at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday night against Free State Stars in the Absa Premiership.

This game comes after a week of travelling which saw the “Team of Choice” draw 1-1 with Chippa United in Port Elizabeth and then knocked out of the Nedbank Cup by MP Black Aces at the Mombela Stadium in Nelspruit.

“As we enter the final 3rd of the season, every team will be fighting for points to achieve whatever their targets are and there will be no easy games from now until the end of the Season.

“We are expecting a tough game against Free State Stars. Despite losing on penalties, They performed admirably against Bidvest Wits in the Nedbank Cup,” said United spokesperson, Brian Zuma.

“Our boys enjoy very good support at home and will be eager to return to winning ways in front of our fans. We are determined to collect maximum points and reignite our challenge for a finish in the Top 8 of the ABSA Premiership, he added.

The game kicks off at 20h15 and Tickets are available at the following outlets:

• Computicket
• Club offices at 397 Victoria Rd
• Tourism Hub in Freedom square
• Supersave Supermarket in Retief Street
• OK Minimark in College Rd.
