MARITZBURG UNITED RELEASES PLAYERS
25 June 2015
Preparations for the new season are in full swing with Maritzburg United, as the team prepares to go to camp for two weeks.
A well prepared camp is very likely to bear positive results as was realised in the previous season.
The success of the club was also owed to a very successful camp in the Midlands at Michaelhouse, which many players described as gruelling.
The cold there was mean and the players had to persevere through that and a tight programme in preparation for the PSL.
As the team prepares itself for this year’s version of the camp, it will be without four of the players whose contracts were not renewed.
Terence Mandaza, Thabang Matuka, Tsepo Moloto and Thokozani Sekotlong will not be seen in Maritzburg United colours this season.
The players had very little game time last season and as such, they have are not in the books of the Team of Choice for the 2015/16 season.
Further more, as per loan agreement, players that were loaned from Mamelodi Sundowms have been released back to their club.
Kwanda Mngonyama, Ntuthuko Mabaso and Sibusiso Khumalo have all gone back to Sundowns. The procedure is that fresh negotiations have to take place about any of the players we may want back in Pietermaritzburg. We have made that indication to Sundowns.
