MUFC LOOKING TO BOUNCE BACK
21 September 2015

Maritzburg United are languishing at the bottom of the PSL log with one point after four matches.

This has resulted in the club parting ways with former Coach Mandla Ncikazi. Whilst the Chairman and his board are out in the market looking for a replacement, Assistant Coach Fadlu Davids will be in charge of the Team of Choice against Free State Stars at Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday night.

He is looking to turn things around and get maximum points to move away from the bottom.

“I am not going to change much. Our problem is that we have not been scoring” said the former Maritzburg United Skipper.

“We need to have more movement in the final third and put the ball in the back of the net,” he concluded.

The game kicks off at 19h30 and tickets are available at Computicket at R40.

Meanwhile, MUFC will have home advantage when they take on Jomo Cosmos in the Telkom Knock out. The two teams will be meeting for the second time this season after playing a goalless draw in the PSL opening game of the season.

“We are happy with the draw. We have a “bone to chew” with Cosmos after they came here and denied us three points,” said Marketing and Communications Manager, Brian Zuma.
