Stars steal it at the death

It was last minute heartbreak for Maritzburg United as they conceded in added time to go down 3-2 to Free State Stars at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday night.
The early stages of the game saw a hard fought contest in the middle of the park, with no chances on goal.
Thamsanqa Teyise then shot wide for the hosts before Ngasa mised the target for Stars right at the end of the first half.
Evans Rusike was close to getting his first goal for the club, but saw his header going over the bar a few minutes after the restart.
It was the visitors who took the lead, on the hour mark, Danny Venter finihsing slinically with his left foot.
Maritzburg pressed hard to get back into the match and were to level matters through a Kurt Lentjies penalty after a handball by Themba Shabalala.
Parity was only to last four minutes as Andrea Fileccia put Stars back in front, from the spot.
Ea Lla Koto were back in front via a penalty of their own before Mohammed Anas made it 2-2 as the Team of Choice demonstrated the courage to fight back.
But United were unable to hold on for a point as Robert Sankara spoiled the party for Maritzburg when he netted the winner in added time.
