WE WILL FIGHT TO THE END
08 February 2016
We are left with thirteen more games before the end of the season, and we are still at the bottom of the log with eight points.
This is definitely a cause for concern for everyone associated with the Club. There are people and commentators who have already concluded our fate that we shall be playing at National First Division level next season.
But for us, the fight is not over and we are confident that we will be able to turn the corner. We know that we are not a bad team and that we actually play well. We concede goals and give away the lead at crucial times, and that has been our weakness. Mother luck has also not been kind to us.
We owe it to the whole of KZN, Msunduzi Municipality, our sponsors and fans to ensure that come next season we are in the PSL. KZN is too big and football-talented a province to be having only two teams in the Premier League. We have a responsibility to fight to the last game for the sake of KZN.
This Saturday the 13th of February 2015, we have a home game against Platinum Stars. This is the first of the seven remaining home games. We have yet to win a game at home and our fans are already becoming impatient. We need a win badly to give them hope again. We have the players to do the job, there is no doubt about that. The results that we have had so far, and the position we are in, do not reflect the good quality team that we have, which plays good football.
The boys are even more determined now to die on the field with their boots on, and it starts this Saturday.
