MUFC PLAYERS CALLED FOR NATIONAL DUTY
18 March 2016

Four Maritzburg United FC players have been called by their respective countries for National duty.

Hard working central defender Brian Onyango and on form striker Evans Rusike have both been selected to play for their countries Kenya and Zimbabwe respectively. Both teams will be involved in Afcon qualifiers with Kenya taking on Guinea-Bissau and Zimbabwe up against Swaziland.

On the home front, dependable Kwanda Mngonyama and reliable Deolin Mekoa who are regulars with the SA U23 National team, have again been called for a friendly against Brazil ahead of the 2016 U23 Summer Olympics to be held in the same country in August. The players will depart to join their team mates after the league encounter against Chippa United in Port Elizabeth this coming Sunday.

We wish all our boys the best in their campaigns!
