Maritzburg United 0-2 Black Aces
15 April 2016

Two second half goals saw Mpumalanga Black Aces taking home all three points from the game played at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Friday night.

Maritzburg had the first chance of the game, but Ryan Moon's header went just the bar, while Thabo Nodada fired over goal for AmaZayoni.

On 41 minutes Evans Rusike was played in on goal, the Zimbabwean trying to pick out the bottom corner only to be denied by Shuaib Walters.

Aces then wasted a great chance when Bhongolwethu Jayiya missed the ball right in front of goal.

The visiting side took the lead on 51 minutes when Nodada scored with a left footed shot at the near near post.

Maritzburg had the opportunity to level, but Sheldon van Wyk missed the target from a good position inside the box, before Rusike sent an effort across goal as the Team of Choice tried to fight back into the game.

But in the 73rd minute Aces doubled their lead through Judas Mosemaedi after Nodada's effort hit his chest and went in.

With 10 minutes to go, Deolin Mekoa got into space and got in a shot, but Walters made the save.
