UNITED DEFEATED IN BLOEM

It proved a frustrating Tuesday evening in the Free State capital as Maritzburg United lost 1-0
to Bloemfontein Celtic in the Absa Premiership.

The match at the Dr Molemela Stadium got off to a tight start, with little to seperate the sides in the opening 15 minutes.

Phunya Sele Sele broke the deadlock when Jackie Motshegwa beat Richard Ofori after a cross from Deon Hotto's from the left flank in the 16th minute.

Despite the Team of Choice's best efforts to level the game, the home team defended dogedly to hold on to all three points.

The Team of Choice get a chance to regroup as their next match is only in three weeks time, away to Polokwane City.
