MAKGALWA DELIGHTED TO BE AT THE TEAM OF CHOICE

Keletso Makgalwa has quickly settled in at Maritzburg United after joining the club on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns last week.

The forward came off the bench midweek against Free State Stars in Bethlehem for his Team of Choice debut and scored a goal in the dying minutes in a 2-1 defeat.

He also produced an impressive 60-minutes against Cape Town City in an MTN 8 quarter-final in which United narrowly lost by a goal to nil.

"I'm hungry to showcase my talent so I have to work hard," Makgalwa said.

The 21-year-old is delighted with the faith placed in him by coach Fadlu Davids' and believes that with the current team spirit, they can turn this challenging spell for the club around.

"It feels good, I came here to get game time and to work hard. I think against City we did play well even though we didn't get the result.

David’s men resume their league campaign this Friday when they welcome Kaizer Chiefs to the Harry Gwala Stadium.

Makgalwa who made four first-team appearances for Masandawana last season believes the clash against the Amakhosi is a massive opportunity for the team to register their first win of the campaign.

“We have to work harder, to work as a team. Now is the time to keep the team spirit and be together in this situation. We are looking forward to the game against Chiefs," Makgalwa added.
