UNITED CONCLUDE TRANSFER BUSINESS

Maritzburg United can confirm the conclusion of transfer deals in the current window. The Team of Choice have brought in eight new additions to the squad.

“We are delighted with the business we managed to get done in this transfer window,” said Younus Kadodia, the Maritzburg United Chief Executive Officer.

“It is understood that we are a club with limited resources but within our budget we have managed to bring in some real quality. We are committed to our fans, City of Choice and continuously building our brand.”

“We feel like the additions to the squad will help us grow and compete in all competitions,” Kadodia added.

Keagan Buchanan

Maritzburg United were quick to move in for the 27-year-old. The creative midfielder, signed a three-year contract with United from Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs. Nazeer Allie joined from Bidvest Wits on a two-year deal. Allie is a seasoned defender and over the years has accumulated an impressive haul of winner’s medals including the ABSA Premiership, MTN8 and Telkom KO. Keletso Makgalwa

Tholang Masegela

The former SA Under-20 midfielder arrived at the club from French club, AC Ajaccio. Masegela has already made his first-team debut and could feature prominently in the coming months.
