ALL TO PLAY FOR IN KZN DERBY!

Maritzburg United midfielder, Keletso Makgalwa is looking forward to his first KwaZulu-Natal Derby.

The Team of Choice head to Umlazi for a tough test against AmaZulu next Tuesday.

The playmaker who is on loan from, Mamelodi Sundowns has slotted straight into the first team at United and has impressed with some influential performances.

United claimed their first victory of the season away to high-flying Bloemfontein Celtic weekend and will arrive at the King Zwelithini Stadium full of condifence.

"Obviously it feels good to get the first three points of the campaign. Now as a team we have to keep that momentum going," Makgalwa said.

Coach Fadlu Davids side boast three consecutive clean sheets. Marshalled by goalkeeper, Richard Ofori, United have managed to stop the likes of Bidvest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs and Celtic from scoring.

"Defensively we are very good because we are not conceding but I think we can work more in the final third. Every game we create chances so we need to work on converting them,” Makgalwa said.

Usuthu are unbeaten at home this season and Makgalwa predicts a tough assignment on the road.

"It’s a derby, so it’s going to be a tough game. It will be a difficult match for both teams. The intensity will be high because both sides want to prove a point."

Kick-off this coming Tuesday is at 19:30.
