Maritzburg United \

22 December 2016

The Chairman of Maritzburg United Farook Kadodia, his Board of Directors, Management and Staff, would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the level of support that our fans have given us so far this season.

We fought very hard to stay in the league and we are satisfied with how we have acquitted ourselves to date. At the same time last season, were lingering at the bottom of the log. As we go on this break, we are seventh with 19 points in fifteen games. We believe we are on good course to achieve our target of a minimum of 40 points by the end of the season.

We would like to give credit to the work done by our Caretaker Coach Fadlu Davids and his Technical Team since the departure of Ernst Middendorp. They have really steadied the ship into much calmer waters.

When we return as the season resumes, we will be more than determined to carry the momentum forward and get more points in the bag so that our target or more is achieved at the end of the season. We know and appreciate the role that our supporters have played in assisting us to work towards achieving our target.

We wish all our sponsors, suppliers, partners and in particular our fans a very enjoyable and peaceful Festive season, and that they have a very prosperous new year.

Our offices close on the 22nd of December 2016 and will re-open on the 4th of January 2017.
