On the back of a loss to Wits at Bidvest Stadium last Sunday, Maritzburg United return to the 'slaughter house', Harry Gwala Stadium to take on a Dikwena side who are a tricky customer on a good day.


But the Team of Choice will draw inspiration from the fact that they have won all last four games here, the last victim being title contenders Cape Town City, and will look to continue where they ended off.


This will be the second last game before the season ends. The young Fortune Makaringe who has been in the starting line up lately, as a midfield operator, and says it is good that they are playing this game at home.


“At home we need to triumph, and we’ve been getting maximum results here. We want to win it to enhance our chances of a top eight finish. But more importantly, winning at home is what our fans deserve for the support they always give us here,” said Makaringe.


When asked to what he could attribute the performance and good results the club is experiencing, he said “Unity is our strength. We have never been this united before.”


Kick off is at 7.30pm and tickets are available at the Club offices, OK Mini market in College Rd and Supersave. They will also be on sale at the stadium.
