Maritzburg, Stars, both chasing maximum points

17 October 2014

Three points will be like gold at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday evening, Maritzburg United and Platinum Stars having gone a combined seven matches without a league win..

The Team of Choice can take inspiration from what has been a good record in PMB this season, with two wins and a draw from three games.

However, Maritzburg have struggled to get results against Dikwena over the years: in 16 matches, Stars have 10 wins while United have just three.

Maritzburg are currently in eighth place on the standings, while the North West team are in 12th position.

The game will also see Team of Choice coach Steve Komphela up against his former employers.
