CSI PROJECT AT RAISETHORPE SECONDARY

Maritzburg United spent the morning at the Raisthorpe Secondary school conducting motivational talks and coaching clinics on Wednesday.

Siphesihle Ndlovu, Junior Zindoga and Deolin Mekoa all spoke to the pupils about the importance of education and how it was necessary to give your studies just as much importance as it was to play sport.

The pupils of the school were very keen to learn about the life of professional footballers and asked plenty of questions to the players in attendance.

Star man, Ndlovu said: "It means a lot for me to stand in front of you today to speak to you and try to motivate you. My life has been a struggle but I'm starting to settle, not by mistake but through hard work, effort and persistence. So that's my advice to you and If you apply this you will be successful."

The pupils were also encouraged to get behind Maritzburg United, who handed out free tickets for their next home game against Cape Town City on the 5th of October.

Before that game, the Team of Choice will shift focus to their important weekend clash against Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday.
