BREAKING NEWS – UNITED SUFFER A MAJOR BLOW

Maritzburg United suffered a major blow when their American Goal Keeper, Hunter Gilstrap was rushed to hospital this morning in agony with suspected kidney stones.

Coach Gordon Igesund was devastated when he got news this morning, he sees it as a major set back to his plans for the Chiefs clash on Sunday. I was to field Gilstrap against Ajax due his papers not order at the time he had sit that game. He was to start on Sunday, he as been in brilliant at training and looking sharp. Now it is touch and go, I will have to play a waiting game, said Igesund.

I noticed at training that he was feeling uncomfortable, but I never knew it was serious, until this morning when I got the news. I feel for him because he was looking forward to starting, and kidney stones are very painful.

I wish him a speedy recovery and hopefully make is appearance, if fit on Sunday.
