DEATH OF U15 UNITED DEVELOPMENT PLAYER

The Maritzburg United Family send their condolences to the Dludla family on the sudden death of their son, Mbuso Nkululeko Dludla.

He has been part of the United Development programme since 2006, starting in the U13 age group and was recently promoted to the U15 squad, said his Coach Dumisani Hlope. He was a versatile player with an educated left foot. He could play either as a wide midfield or as a wing back. His last played in a friendly game against Hopewell United F.C. on the Wednesday and passed on after complaining of a head ache on Friday the 11 September 2008.

He played his last official game against Superior F.C. on the 06 September 2008. His side won 3-0.

He was a very influential player and contributed hugely in the team success and showed that he had the potential to be a player of the future, added Coach Hlope. What is sad is that Mbuso was in the starting line up and he would not be taking the foeld for his second Cup Final on the 21 September 2008, the last Cup Final appearance was for the U13’s in 2007, where they won the Cup.

He had some excellent qualities as both as a player and team mate and will sadly missed by all on the Development programme.

The funeral takes place on Saturday the 20 September 2008.
