UNITED HOSTS AMAZULU IN HAMMARESDALE




The season’s first KZN derby will take place at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammarsdale when Maritzburg United hosts Amazulu in their PSL clash. The game was originally set for Woodburn Stadium in Pietermaritzburg.

Maritzburg United’s temporary home, the Woodburn Stadium will be ready in 6 to 8 week time due to some technical glitches. The Club, Chairman Mr. Farook Kadodia made every effort to ensure the use of the Woodburn Stadium, however this fixture, United’s home game will have to be played out in Hammarsdale on Saturday the 4th October 2008. Kick off at 15H30.

Mr. Kadodia apologizes for the inconvenience this causes for our supporters and his determined to have all the Stadium’s concerns addressed and in readiness for the team’s second derby against Golden Arrows on the 05 November 2008.
