Buy a Membership and Score Big on Merchandise
Maritzburg United’s membership cards are now on sale and can be purchased from the United Offices in Victoria Road, Pietermaritzburg.
The card offers a host of benefits from Accident Cover to discounts on merchandising and season tickets. At R50.00 the benefits are a give away, says the Club’s Brand Manager, Mr. Younus Kadodia. When you purchase a card you qualify automatically for accident and disability cover of R5 000.00 that is underwritten by FNB. Your Membership card is personalized and you also get a welcome pack with Club goodies such as United Stress Ball, Card holder and Lynard amongst other memorabilia.
The card also provides other incentives where a member will be contacted regarding special offers on selected products and services. You could have access to an Stokvel Account as well as affordable funeral, financial and insurance policies. Kadodia added that other benefits are added regularly. Remember this is all for a one off purchase of R50.00
As a Club initiative a signed member can purchase Replica Jerseys or T-Shirts at 20% less than the normal price which is applicable to all United’s memorabilia on sale. A 20% discount is also offered on season tickets.
I urge supporters to buy their membership card and take advantage of the offers while stocks last.
Regarding the Supporter Clubs and the establishment of branches. These avenues will be explored early in January 2009. Meeting dates and venues have to be identified and will be advertised once finalized with the team’s PRO, Mr. Brian Zuma, said Kadodia.
