FASHIONABLE MARITZBURG MARK NEW PSL ERA WITH BOLD NEW KIT

Maritzburg United on Monday officially launched our three new-look Lotto-branded replica kits for the upcoming 2020/21 season.
The new jersey builds on a successful partnership with Lotto South Africa that has been blossoming impressively over the past two seasons.
Embodying the essence of the undying support of the Blue Army and the city of Pietermaritzburg, these three beautifully designed strips will ensure our players carry with them the spirit of the club.
Last season's replica kits proved to be a hit with the fans and these new stylish yet bold designs build and add to that look, with a few new tweaks as well.
Our home kit will primarily be comprised of the club's traditional blue colour, together with some white flourishes. The second and third kits will respectively be red, with a dash of yellow, and dark blue, with lighter blue trims.
"We're thrilled with the new kits and are very pleased to continue our excellent relationship with Lotto South Africa," said Maritzburg United Chief Executive Officer, Younus Kadodia.
"The kit is a crucial part of the brand and can even help to attract more supporters, and with this in mind, it was very important to get the right look. Worn by the players on the field, seen on television broadcasts as well as showcased publicly by our fans, it was important to get a look that we felt represents the vibrancy and energy of the club and our supporters.
"We feel this was achieved and are optimistic about receiving a positive response."

Fans can look forward to seeing the Team of Choice stepping out in their new strip for the first time this weekend, when they take on Kaizer Chiefs in an MTN8 quarter-final clash at the FNB Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
