Influencing the lives of people through the beautiful game is something the club places a great importance on and it was a humbling experience for the players and staff who together with the Izandla Zothando Foundation, delivered food parcels and a much needed wheelchair.
"I'm grateful to be part of an initiative in a community that is always behind us," said Maritzburg midfielder and home-grown talent Bandile Shandu.
"Big thanks to the club, Phoenix Cash and Carry and the Izandla Zothando Foundation," Shandu added.
