The full complement of the squad and technical team were present to hand out food hampers and conduct motivational talks to the 100 kids of the orphanage that were in attendance.
The youngsters spent the afternoon entertaining the team with song and dance, and in turn, the players had some fun dancing for them.
Captain Siyanda Xulu and new recruit, Keagan Buchanan both gave the boys and girls some words of wisdom that they consumed intently.
Defender Bokang Tlhone expressed how the event touched his heart and says that the experience at the homes will also lift the mood inside the camp.
“As an individual I felt very touched because it was my first time having such an experience and seeing the kids happy that we are here,” he said. “It also lifts us as a team and you know some of us are parents so it is really special to spend time with them and have this Christmas party for them.”
The Team of Choice have had ten days to prepare for the visit of Black Leopards who sit rooted to the foot of the table.
They will be searching for that elusive first home win of the campaign when they come up against Lidoda Duvha on Wednesday.
