NO JOY FOR UNITED IN THOHOYANDOU

It was a frustrating afternoon in the DStv Premiership for Maritzburg United as we suffered a 1-0 defeat to Black Leopards at the Thohoyandou Stadium.
The Team of Choice enjoyed the better of the play on the day. But having failed to take some of the good chances they created, they were punished when Lidoda Duvha scored with one of their few opportunities when Rodney Ramagalela netted in the 57th minute.
Maritzburg rallied hard to get something from the game but it just would not fall for them in front of goal.
Said head coach Eric Tinkler: “It was a massively disappointing loss. I feel for the players because I don’t think they deserved it.
"We dominated practically the whole match, didn’t take the chances we created and one mistake lead to a goal. That’s been the story of the season so far.”
Its back to the drawing board now as we prepare for next Saturday's match against SuperSport United at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
