TEAM OF CHOICE SEND WARM CONGRATULATIONS ON MOTSEPE’S CAF PRESIDENCY

Maritzburg United Football Club would like to congratulate Mamelodi Sundowns president Patrice Motsepe on his appointment as the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The Sundowns owner was confirmed as the new CAF President in Rabat, Morocco on Friday.
"When we all work together, football in Africa will experience success and growth that it has not enjoyed in the past,” Dr Motsepe said as part of his acceptance speech.
He becomes the eighth CAF president and the first from a southern African nation.
“A hearty congratulations to Dr Patrice Motsepe on being elected Caf president,” said Team of Choice Chairman Farook Kadodia.
“One can only admire how Sundowns have flourished under his ownership and how Dr Motsepe has played an important part in bringing pride to South African football – we couldn’t ask for a better ambassador.
“A passionate football man, a successful businessman and a generous philanthropist, it’s clear that Dr Motsepe is the ideal person for this crucial role in African football and we are confident he will succeed in his mandates.
