Tlolane, or ‘Messi’ as he has been nicknamed, is a versatile player who operated in a wide midfield position for previous clubs Jomo Cosmos and Chippa United, and was also used in defence at Pirates.
The Johannesburg-born 25-year-old is excited about the new chapter in his career. He’s keen to work under Team of Choice head coach Eric Tinkler and is determined to make a positive impact and win over the hearts of the Blue Army.
“I’m very happy to be here, it’s a new challenge for me,” said Tlolane on his arrival in the KwaZulu-Natal Capital City. “It’s a blessing to be here because the team is doing well, with a good coach and good players.
“So I’m happy to be here to learn from the players and the coach and I just hope that I can get started.
It’s a new environment for me and I want to give my all for the team. I hope that I can add to the success that they’ve had so far. They got to the Telkom Knockout final and hopefully I can help them reach another cup final and win it.
“It’s a new challenge for me and I’m ready for it, Team of Choice, I’m happy to be here!”
