TEAM OF CHOICE HOLD GALLANTS TO A STALEMATE

Maritzburg United picked up a point on the road after playing to a 0-0 DStv Premiership draw with Marumo Gallants at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Team of Choice had to hold out nearly the entire second half with only 10 men after Zukile Kewuti's 49th minute sending off.
It was Maritzburg keeper Marcel Engelhardt who made sure the visiting side did not go home empty handed after he saved Thabo Mnyamane's 73rd minute penalty.
The point earned sees Maritzburg maintaining position 11 on the DStv Premiership standings.
Coach Ernst Middendorp and his charges now turn their attention to Sunday's KwaZulu-Natal derby against AmaZulu at the Harry Gwala Stadium. Kick off is 17H30.
