DANIELS RALLIES TEAMMATES AHEAD OF MAMELODI SUNDOWNS SHOWDOWN
4 March, 2022

Maritzburg United defender Clayton Daniels has set his sights on making home advantage count on Saturday when they square off against the log-leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns.
The DStv Premiership match will be staged at the Harry Gwala and will be live on SuperSport PSL (channel 202) at 19h30
"There are two things for us. First of all, we have to go there and compete. It doesn't matter who we play against. Secondly, it's our home game. We should take advantage of our home games," Daniels explained.
The Team of Choice suffered a 2-1 defeat in their previous encounter at the expense of their KZN rivals, Golden Arrows.
"Everyone is working hard and putting up their hands to play in the next game. There's some good competition at training. The preparations are going well so far," Danils added.

The Brazilians recently won their league match by 3-0 against TS Galaxy after they defeated Egyptian giants Al Ahly 1-0 in the CAF Champions League.
"No one is expecting us to beat Sundowns, so for us, we have to go there and leave everything on the field. Hopefully, we'll come off with full points." Daniels elaborated.
The defender understands the quality Sundowns have at their disposal but also expressed that they'll be up for the task.
"They're high in confidence team after they won 3-0 in their last game and also they won in the Champions League. They have quality, it doesn't matter who is playing on the field. You can expect a talented team. For us, we have to compete on the day and put our hands up that we are also a good team and we also need points and not make things easy for them." Daniels concluded.
