MARITZBURG WELCOME BIRDS BACK TO HARRY GWALA

Maritzburg United will be hoping to return to winning ways when they host Swallows FC in a DStv Premiership encounter on Tuesday evening at Harry Gwala Stadium.
The match will kick-off at 20h00.
This mouth-watering encounter was scheduled to be played on Saturday, 2 April 2022 but it was postponed due to bad weather in Pietermaritzburg.
Maritzburg United striker Tawanda Macheke informed the club's website that everyone is determined ahead of this encounter.
"The preparations are going very well and everyone is putting in the hard work knowing that we need these points," Macheke explained.
The Team of Choice succumbed to defeat at the expense of Cape Town City in our previous clash on Wednesday at Harry Gwala.
"Dedication, commitment, and hard work till the last second of the game are all we need to do to get the results that we are looking for. It's not going to be a walk in the park, but we need maximum concentration, determination and hard work to get the points," he eluded.
The Dube Birds will come to this match after they were trounced 4-2 by the defending league champions, Sundowns.
"I don't know if they will make changes or not to their squad, but what I'm pretty sure about is that it's not going to be an easy game, we ought to approach it with positive mindset and get the results we need." Macheke detailed.
The 26-year-old Zimbabwean-born who joined the club during the mid-season transfer window is not interested on singling out players who are more likely to cause danger from Swallows.
"Individuals for me don't really matter at the moment, we need to focusinn the team because individuals may change but Swallows FC will always be Swallows FC even with new or old players," Macheke concluded.
The Team of Choice will also be counting on their 12th player, the Blue Army. The fans are now, allowed to attend the PSL matches again.
