MARITZBURG BOUNCE BACK TO CLAIM A POINT OFF GALAXY

A late equaliser at the Mbombela Stadium on earned Maritzburg United a 1-1 draw against TS Galaxy in a DStv Premiership match on Saturday afternoon.
The draw leaves United on 24 points, with four matches to play this term.
After what had been a tight first half, Maritzburg keeper Marcel Engelhardt did brilliantly to stop Bathusi Aubaas breaking the deadlock in the 55th minute.
The Germany-born keeper was however powerless to stop the hosts from taking the lead in the 63rd minute when Augustine Kwem fired in from the penalty spot.
Following the setback, the Team of Choice rallied hard to try and get back into the game and their efforts were eventually rewarded in the 83rd minute when Friday Samu scored.
It was the Zambian's second goal in his last three matches for Maritzburg.
