MARITZBURG UNITED DRAW WITH STELLENBOSCH

Maritzburg United picked up a valuable point on the road with a 1-1 DStv Premiership draw against Stellenbosch FC at the Danie Craven Stadium on Saturda
The Team of Choice had scored first through Alfred Ndengane but were denied victory by Judas Mosemedi's 67th minute equaliser.
The first half had been evenly balanced as the home side had the early chances before United put some pressure on the Stellies defence in the 15 minutes before the interval.
After a lively start to the second half, Maritzburg were to draw first blood in the 62nd minute as Ndengabe slotted in a penalty kick.
The lead was however short-lived as Moseamedi netted after a well-worked move from the Cape side just five minutes later.
Waseem Isaacs had a late chance for Stellenbosch but failed to find the net with a header, the match ending all square.
Maritzburg end their season with games against Orlando Pirates (away) and Baroka FC at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
