MARITZURG SUFFER LATE DERBY HEARTBREAK

Maritzburg United Football Club is delighted to announce the acquisition of Tebogo Tlolane.
Maritzburg United were just seconds away from victory before having to settle for a 1-1 draw against AmaZulu in Friday night's DStv KwaZulu-Natal derby at a packed Harry Gwala Stadium.
It had been looking set to be a great evening for the Team of Choice after debutan striker Kwame Peprah put United ahead with a well-taken diving header in the 33rd minute after a great cross from Karim Kimvuidi.That had follwed a bright start by Fadlu Davids' charges.
Up until the closing minutes of the game, Maritzburg had done well to limit AmaZulu's chances.
But the Durban team upped the ante in the last few minutes of the derby and after coming close several times, they equalised in the 94th and final minute of the game through Guily Manziba.
