COACH DAVIDS: WE'LL PUSH RIGHT TO THE END
4 May 2023

Maritzburg United head coach Fadlu Davids has rallied his troops to pick themselves up and keep fighting, following Wednesday's 2-2 DStv Premiership draw with Marumo Gallants at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
It was disappointing result considering that Gallants netted their equaliser in the 93rd minute to deny the Team of Choice maximum points.
Maritzburg now have two matches left to play this season - at home against Stellenbosch FC on May 13, and away to Mamelodi Sundowns on May 20.
"We won't give up, we'll keep pushing, there's still two games to play and we'll push right up to the end," coach Davids told SuperSport.
"We have to stand up, we have to fight," he continued. "We can't go into the next games with this disappointment.
"We have to lift our heads up and fight again. And push until we get the three points - we know what we need in the last games and that's what we are going to push for.
"The positives (from the Marumo Gallants match) were the fight, to be on the ascendancy and to try to score. We went ahead twice and then to give it away at the end, that's the negative. But there are a lot of positives and we will fight up until the end. We'll leave everything on the pitch."
